Recent tensions in the Middle East have highlighted the need for peace prayers. To make prayer the most powerful, we ask that everyone around the world pray simultaneously, at the same time. This will increase the power of the prayer, possibly by a factor of several hundred because more people are praying simultaneously. Prayer in each time zone is adjusted so that prayers are simultaneous all around the world.
There is also a best time of day to receive prayer, a time when our receptivity is greatest (see below). This depends on where we are in the world. Prayer times are set to correspond to the hour when receptivity is greatest in the Middle East. Our prayers of peace, love and forgiveness, while directed to everyone around the world, may in this way have greatest effectiveness in calming and bringing peace to the Middle East, which is near a flash point, with tensions involving Syria, Iran and Israel. Let us pray that peace, love and forgiveness penetrate the hearts of all people.
The chart below, Table 1, shows the best time to pray to accomplish this. It depends on what time zone you are in and the time of year. The time zones and locations are listed in the left-hand column. Find the row which describes your time zone. Then move across to the right to find the column for the correct date. For example, if you live in Colorado (Denver time zime), you look down the left hand column until you find Colorado or MST for Mountain Standard Time. This describes your time zone. If it is February 20, you then look across the top row of the chart to find the date, February 20. Going down that column to the row corresponding to Colorado or MST you find the prayer time given is 6:20 PM. This is the center of the prayer period.
For a 20 minute prayer, this means beginning the prayer 10 minutes earlier than this. Since the center is 6:20 PM, you would start the prayer ten minutes earlier, at 6:10 PM. If the times are inconvenient, then pray when you can but include the intention that the prayer is to be joined with others praying in the same time window.
We propose that the prayer be for world peace, forgiveness of others, healing of Mother Earth, and the awakening of love for our fellow man. This follows the lessons of the great Teachers of all religions.
THE SCIENCE
The power of prayer has been known for thousands of years. Recent scientific experiments have proven it (Ref. 1). Experiments show that when people pray together at THE SAME TIME, it has EVEN MORE IMPACT (Ref. 2). Science has also discovered there is a SPECIAL TIME OF DAY when we are MOST RECEPTIVE to spiritual and intuitive messages (Ref. 3). Prayers received at this time are likely to have the greatest effect. If everyone around the world will pray at this time the prayers can have heightened impact, both because of the time of day and because many people are praying together. Fifteen or twenty minutes of concentrated prayer everyday at this time can work miracles.
The Princeton PEAR Lab, the Global Consciousness Project, and other research institutions have discovered that consciousness affects physics and can be measured (Ref. 4). The human mind and human intention alter the behavior of devices called “random event generators,” or REGs. They measure the power of human intention to affect distant events. In scientific studies on prayer, it has been found that when many people pray together the effect is larger (Ref. 2).
The second key piece is the importance of the TIME when one prays. It has been discovered in scientific experiments that there is a BEST TIME of day when intuitive messages are most accurately received. Prayer is an example of messages of this type. The graph below shows how accurately such messages are received versus TIME OF DAY. The peak in the graph shows the best time. It is found to depend on the position of the stars overhead, and is therefore called “sidereal time.” Because the peak has width of about a half hour on either side, this defines a one hour window which should be the “best time” for sending or receiving prayer. Table 1 above, labeled “Best Time to Pray,” shows how this “best time” relates to your local clock time.
THE CRISIS OF OUR TIMES
We are living in a time of great change on the planet. We have built technologies which are transforming the world’s ecology and weather. Our investment in weapons of war is skyrocketing. New weapons including engineered diseases are being stockpiled. Soldiers are fighting in many countries, and it is not bringing peace but only more war. Tensions in the Middle East have erupted into “hot wars” in Iraq, Afghanistan and Lebanon, and threaten to spread into Iran and Syria. Growing opposition by China and Russia to U.S. military incursions and the effort by Iran to develop nuclear power raise the potential for escalation. It only seems to bring more anger and create more terrorists, which then feeds the cycle.
In many religions and cultures, the times we are living in have been the subject of prophecy. The Hopi Indians of North America are but one of many peoples who have predicted these times. They describe Western man as having a head and body which are separated. The body represents understanding of the physical world, i.e. technology, and the head represents spiritual wisdom. In the Hopi view, the separation of head and body symbolizes that Western man is out of touch with spiritual guidance, and therefore misuses his understanding of technology. Unless we can learn to access spiritual wisdom, we will make wrong decisions leading to an extremely destructive Third World War.
We humans are at a turning point. Are we able to handle our technology to make our lives better and to spread wealth and opportunity to all? Or do we have a streak of violence, hatred and greed which will doom us to bring about the destruction of this beautiful world in which we live?
The answer does not lie in violence. This only creates more hatred in the victims who respond with greater violence toward us. The answer does not lie in more technology, for without wise and thoughtful use it just causes more environmental damage. The true answer has been given in many cultures and in many religions. We must stop the violence and hatred and greed within ourselves, and then we can help heal the world.
RAPID ENVIRONMENTAL CHANGE
The Gulf Stream which is responsible for the temperate climate in Europe has been slowing in recent years because Global Warming has rapidly melted Arctic ice bringing fresh water into the North Atlantic. Ten of the twelve ocean convection cells which maintain the Gulf Stream flow have reportedly slowed or stopped on occasion, raising the possibility in the near future of drastic weather changes. The Antarctic polar ice sheet, which is two miles thick and a thousand miles across, has experienced rapid melting, leading to sea level rise. Meanwhile the extinction rate of the earth’s animal and plant species has accelerated to a level not seen since the last “Great Extinction” 65 million years ago when the dinosaurs perished. They were the dominant species then. Are we next?
Let us send love and healing to Mother Earth and to one another, that our mistakes and mistreatment of the environment and of our fellow man may be healed, that we learn how to tread more gently on the earth, and that we be forgiven for the disturbances we have so far created.
LESSONS OF THE GREAT SPIRITUAL TEACHERS
In the West every day we see images of violence and war. War has never solved problems for very long. The defeat of Germany in World War I led to resentment and poverty and eventually to the rise of Hitler and World War II. The wisest teachers have taught a very different lesson. Jesus said:
“…if anyone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also.” (Matthew 5:38-41)
Jesus taught that violence solves nothing. It only creates more violence. It hurts and angers the victim who vows and plots his revenge. Jesus realized and taught the great lesson that the best way to destroy an enemy is to make him your friend. Jesus taught that the only way to end violence is to:
“…Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you…” (Matthew 5:44)
The alternative is to create more and more people around the world who hate us and plan and live for our demise. With the increasing power of modern weapons, nuclear, biological, and chemical, even a weak enemy can cause death and suffering on a massive scale. And we know from experience that this only leads to retaliation and escalation. It will only stop when one of two things happens.
(1) Either we destroy ourselves in a global conflict, which has been predicted by many, or
(2) We escape this fate by trying something new: forgive and send love to our enemies, and pray for peace and healing everywhere.
It is up to us to begin the forgiveness process, to love, to send prayers daily around the world to ease the anger and fear, to forgive the violence, to pray for a growing peace. Let the fires of hatred and fear and revenge burn down, let the embers cool. Remember that each of us possesses an immortal soul and is here to learn. Let us follow the teachings of the great Masters of all ages, sowing love and kindness and generosity, and extending it in prayer to all living souls around the world.
When we look beneath the external trappings of any religion, it is remarkable how similar are the underlying beliefs. We offer two examples here. The first is the “Golden Rule,” which in Christianity is “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” This same belief is taught in most of the world’s religions:
Buddhism (Udana-Varga): Hurt not others with that which pains yourself.
Judaism (Leviticus 19:18): You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
Confucianism (Mencius VII.A.4): Try your best to treat others as you would wish to be treated yourself, and you will find that this is the shortest way to benevolence.
Hinduism (The Mahabharata): This is the sum of duty: do naught to others which if done to thee would cause thee pain.
Christianity (Matthew 7:12): Whatever you wish that men would do to you, do so to them.
Islam (Hadith): No one of you is a believer until he desires for his brother that which he desires for himself.
As a second example, consider the teaching of Jesus to “turn the other cheek.” This is often considered a more unusual teaching, because it emphasizes that we should not return violence with violence. In a world torn by terrorism and war, this lesson is too seldom heeded. Yet it is not unique to Christianity. Consider the following quotes:
Buddhism (Dhammapada 201): Victory breeds hatred, for the defeated live in pain. Happily live the peaceful, giving up victory and defeat.
Judaism (Talmud, Baba Kamma 93a): One should choose to be among the persecuted, rather than the persecutors.
Confucianism (Mencius IV.A.14): In wars to gain land, the dead fill the plains; in wars to gain cities, the dead fill the cities. This is known as showing the land the way to devour human flesh. Death is too light a punishment for such men who wage war. Hence those skilled in war should suffer the most severe punishments.
Sikhism (Adi Granth, Shalok, Farid): Those who beat you with fists, do not pay them with the same coin, but go to their house and kiss their feet.
Christianity (Jesus in Matthew 5:38-41): You have heard that it was said, “An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.” But I say to you, Do not resist one who is evil. But if anyone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also; and if any one would sue you and take your coat, let him have your cloak as well…”
Islam (Forty Hadith of an-Nawawi 32): Let there be no injury and no requital.
Such correspondences can be found for almost all religions. Therefore, as the world becomes smaller it would serve us well to look at the underlying similarities in religions, rather than the differences. These similarities are not due to coincidence. They are due to a deep intuitive knowledge on the part of religious founders. These rules seem to describe important truths about how the universe works and how we should live. The alternative, in this time of nuclear and biological warfare and a seriously damaged environment, may be our destruction. A non-violent solution is to pray for global healing and peace.
OUR MISSION TO BRING INTO REALITY THE CENTRAL MESSAGE OF ALL THE WORLD’S RELIGIONS: TO LOVE ONE ANOTHER, TO TREAT OTHERS AS WE WOULD LIKE TO BE TREATED, TO FORGIVE OTHERS AND RETURN LOVE FOR HATE, KINDNESS FOR ANGER, TO SPREAD THIS FEELING TO EVERYONE, TO OUR FELLOW MAN AS WELL AS THE EARTH AND ITS ENVIRONMENT.
WE ARE AT A CRUCIAL TIME WHEN MANY PROPHECIES, AND INDEED THE TIDE OF WORLD EVENTS, THREATENS A WIDER WAR AND DRASTIC CHANGES TO OUR CLIMATE AND ECOLOGY. THESE MAY THREATEN OUR WELL-BEING AND EVEN OUR EXISTENCE. THIS IS OUR OPPORTUNITY, MAYBE EVEN OUR “FINAL EXAM” TO SEE IF WE ARE WISE ENOUGH TO HANDLE OUR TECHNOLOGY AND TURN IT FROM DESTRUCTIVE TO CONSTRUCTIVE ENDS.
GLOBAL SYNCHRONIZED PRAYER, DONE EVERY DAY BY MILLIONS OF PEOPLE AROUND THE WORLD, CAN TURN THIS TIDE. IT CAN HEAL HATRED AND FEAR AND TURN IT INTO PEACE AND LOVE. IT CAN EASE THE DISTRESS OF MOTHER EARTH AND BEGIN TO HEAL THE DAMAGES TO CLIMATE AND ECOSYSTEMS. IN THIS WAY WE MAY AVERT WAR AND CHOOSE A BETTER FUTURE FOR OURSELVES AND OUR CHILDREN. WE CAN CHANGE THE FUTURE. IT IS UP TO US.

(NaturalNews) The regretful passing of an American entertainment icon — Whitney Houston — marks yet another sad milestone in the devastating body count of the prescription drug industry. TMZ is now reporting that Whitney Houston was found not with illegal drugs, but prescription drugs that may have killed her or caused her to drown in the bathtub. (http://www.tmz.com/2012/02/11/whitney-houston-prescription-drugs-drow…)
Xanax is widely promoted throughout that DSM-IV, the “bible” of modern psychiatry which promotes the use of prescription amphetamines to children (among other bizarre chemical recommendations).
Whitney Houston showed clear signs of pharmaceutical adverse effects
At a pre-Grammys party at Tru Hollywood Thursday evening, the beloved Grammy-winning singer seemed “wasted” and “moody” as she exited the club past midnight, according to a witness. “She reacted angrily to the security guards trying to get her into her car…and started cussing them out.”
Although the superstar smiled when fans approached her for autographs, “she would get moody again in a split second,” the observer says. “It was sad because her fans noticed that she was really shaky as she left the venue. She definitely was not in control of herself.”
This is the behavior of a person who is using either prescription psychiatric drugs or recreational drugs (or perhaps both in combination). That this was observed with Houston on multiple occasions is very strong evidence that these drugs were altering her brain function and thereby radically altering her personality and behavior.
Remember: for every celebrity death caused by prescription drugs, there are hundreds of thousands of deaths of everyday people from prescription drugs, too. In fact, according to published scientific statistics:
The number of people killed by prescription drugs absolutely dwarfs the number killed by alleged acts of terrorism (9/11 in particular). And while America has gone crazy with “security checkpoints,” TSA agents reaching down your pants, nullification of the Bill of Rights (http://www.naturalnews.com/034537_NDAA_Bill_of_Rights_Obama.html) and other outrageous government encroachments on your freedom to fight the so-called “war on terror,” the government does absolutely nothing to address the holocaust of prescription drug deaths happening every single day.
Whitney Houston is just one of countless Americans who are victims of Big Pharma, an industry that cares far more about corporate profits than it does about the lives of real people. And today, we have lost yet another iconic American artist whose life was cut short by addiction, prescription drugs and the entire “medication culture” that exists in America today.
Whitney Houston will be missed. May her death serve as an urgent call for ending the scourge of mind-altering psychotropic drugs and ending the failed “War on Drugs” that tries to criminalize drug addicts rather than helping them heal.

It’s time to start helping drug addicts rather than throwing them behind bars
NaturalNews calls for the decriminalization of recreational drugs followed by the treatment of drug addicts and abusers through health-oriented support services (including nutrition) rather than the criminal justice system.
It is time to empty the prisons of non-violent drug offenders and compassionately offer them addiction treatment programs. As written today, our laws would condemn Whitney Houston as a felony criminal rather than someone who was only guilty of being caught up in a cycle of substance abuse and prescription drug dependence.
It is time to stop treating addiction as a criminal offense and start helping people rather than throwing them behind bars. If society’s response to drug addiction and abuse were based more in health and compassion rather than revenge and punishment, Whitney Houston might very well still be alive today, along with countless other victims of the pharmaceutical and recreational drugs industries.
Even famous singer Tony Bennett echoes this call. In an urgent and outspoken plea made last night, Tony Bennett called for the decriminalization of drugs so that drug addicts can seek help legally and compassionately, without being thrown behind bars and marginalized by society. “First it was Michael Jackson, then Amy Winehouse, now, the magnificent Whitney Houston,” said Bannett (Hollywood Reporter). “I’d like every person in this room to campaign to legalize drugs.” (http://jam.canoe.ca/Music/2012/02/12/19370036.html?cid=rssentertainme…)
This doesn’t mean that NaturalNews or Tony Bennett supports the recreational use of such drugs. I am 100% against recreational drug use, and I don’t use such drugs myself. But I also understand that drug use is a behavioral and chemical addiction, not a criminal act. The solution is found in decriminalizing drugs, regulating their distribution like alcohol, and offering treatment, addiction recovery and nutritional consultation programs for those suffering from drug addiction.
Drug users are not criminals! They are people who need medical help, counseling, nutrition and compassion. Calling them “criminals” only becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy that keeps the police state in power while doing nothing to end drug addiction.

The Moon will be full in Leo on February 7th at 4:54 pm Est/9:54 pm GMT. The Full Moon is the peak of the lunar cycle – it’s a time when our goals and aspirations reach fulfillment as we prepare for the waning cycle during which we are generally asked to let go of something that no longer works in our ever-changing lives.
The Leo Full Moon is all about learning to become the very best “I” we can be. Leo instills a sense of healthy ego identification and joy – there is greater generosity and expansion of the heart. The Full Moon is a culmination of the cycle, and bringing something into form is an important piece of the intention here. Yet the Leo Moon is opposite the Aquarius Sun, necessitating a balance between our identification with the personal (Leo) and our lives as part of a collective (Aquarius).
This balance between the personal (Leo) and the transpersonal (Aquarius) is an interesting dichotomy for those of us on a path to spiritual and personal growth where the Ego is often considered a hindrance. It can be tempting to try to extinguish the Ego (Leo) in favor of a transcended view in which all are one and the needs of the community are served first (Aquarius). But astrological symbolism teaches us that there is no human quality that is more important than any other, and that all must exist simultaneously in balance. So the Leo Full Moon asks that we delve deep within to find the source of that which makes us special, unique, and ready to open our hearts so that we can better serve the collective on all levels, from the very personal to the global community. The Self is very present now, giving us an opportunity to allow ourselves to shine as we discovery the true Self that lies underneath the false illusions, fears and doubts.
Mercury conjoins the Sun on the day of the Full Moon, and it opposes the Moon so Mercury is tightly wound into the fabric of the lunation and brings a mental alertness and flow of ideas. There is a sense of anticipation at this time, with Neptune having just entered Pisces and Venus at the 29th degree of Pisces, preparing to enter Aries. When planets change signs the energy shifts and we have a sense of movement. Neptune entering Pisces has shifted our consciousness into a growing awareness of the need to let go of our attachment to the material world and learn to flow with the ebb and tides of our lives. Venus on the verge of Aries suggests that in our personal relationships, for a few weeks at least, we need to become more courageous and more adventurous as we connect with each other.
Saturn will turn retrograde just after the Full Moon and its motion has slowed down to a crawl, it is virtually stationary at the 29th degree of Libra. The retrograde turn of Saturn brings our attention back into the past even as we feel pulled into the future, so as with any Saturn influence it is important to look very clearly at areas of our life in which we feel insecure or experience self-doubt. These are areas that require greater attention now, and the Leo Full Moon, motivated as it is by self-expression and a general positive attitude about life, can help us to see where these changes are necessary and inspire us to overcome our blocks and move with enthusiasm towards our ideals and dreams.
The energy of the Full Moon generally lasts for 2-3 days after the event, so there will be time for us to integrate these blessings into our lives in a deeper way.
Fukushima has been an unfortunate wake-up call to the planetary fallout that nuclear power harnesses. As the ongoing meltdown continues in Japan, it is forcing many to investigate myriad similar reactors that directly threaten other parts of the globe.
This past week the San Onofre reactor located in Southern California came under intense scrutiny, as it was revealed that a “small” leak had occurred, prompting a shutdown.
There are clear indicators that other nuclear power plants in the East and Midwest are showing signs of deterioration, which some are concluding increases the likelihood of a Fukushima-style meltdown, or worse, inside the United States if nature were to push one of these facilities beyond its breaking point, as we witnessed in Japan.
The video below outlines a “breakdown phase” we seem to have entered, and the consequences of the release of the radioactive isotope, tritium, which directly affects DNA structure.
Cassandra Anderson recently wrote about the vast dangers of these leaky nuclear reactors, which she highlighted within the ongoing battle over Vermont’s Yankee nuclear facility; just one of several that have similarly off-vented radioactive steam. As Anderson points out, Yankee is “identical to Fukushima Reactor #1,” and “75% of US reactors are leaking radioactive material.”
Furthermore, in addition to the physical threat to both humans and the environment, Anderson succinctly points out the true economic cost of nuclear power:
Nearly 20% of energy in the US is produced by nuclear facilities. Nuclear energy is far more expensive than other energy sources, but the real cost is hidden because of government subsidies, tax breaks, insurance schemes and legal loopholes. Nuclear energy is estimated to be 60% greater than the cost of electricity from coal or gas fuel power plants. Therefore, nuclear energy would die without massive taxpayer handouts because it could not survive in a free market.
It is becoming clear that the powerful interests behind the promotion of nuclear power, as well as the compromised bureaucracy of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, are only adding to a grave threat by politicizing this issue. The planetary effects of provably increased radiation levels across much of the globe should be one area where we all can agree that a proper solution needs to be discussed immediately, regardless of party lines. We certainly cannot rely upon the very same agencies who have demonstrated that their idea of a solution is merely to raise the acceptable levels of radiation exposure.
The apparent threat of additional mega meltdowns requires all of us to consider this issue thoroughly. Some have proposed that individual states begin to assert their rights and properly decommission these leaky plants, or declare a State of Emergency that would put the authority back in its rightful place. It is a costly initiative to implement a shutdown, but the alternative could very easily result in irreparable regret for not having acted sooner.
Please offer your own comments and solutions for how we best can safeguard our planet against ongoing nuclear contamination.

GLOBAL RESEARCH ONLINE INTERACTIVE READER SERIES
Global Research’s Online Interactive I-Book Reader brings together, in the form of chapters, a collection of Global Research feature articles and videos, including debate and analysis, on a broad theme or subject matter.
In this Interactive Online I-Book we bring to the attention of our readers an important collection of articles, reports and video material on the Fukushima nuclear catastrophe and its impacts (scroll down for the Table of Contents).
The World is at a critical crossroads. The Fukushima disaster in Japan has brought to the forefront the dangers of Worldwide nuclear radiation.
The crisis in Japan has been described as “a nuclear war without a war”. In the words of renowned novelist Haruki Murakami:
“This time no one dropped a bomb on us … We set the stage, we committed the crime with our own hands, we are destroying our own lands, and we are destroying our own lives.”
Nuclear radiation –which threatens life on planet earth– is not front page news in comparison to the most insignificant issues of public concern, including the local level crime scene or the tabloid gossip reports on Hollywood celebrities.
Moreover, while all eyes were riveted on the Fukushima Daiichi plant, news coverage both in Japan and internationally failed to fully acknowledge the impacts of a second catastrophe at TEPCO’s (Tokyo Electric Power Co Inc) Fukushima Daini nuclear power plant.
The shaky political consensus both in Japan, the U.S. and Western Europe is that the crisis at Fukushima has been contained.
The realties, however, are otherwise. Fukushima 3 was leaking unconfirmed amounts of plutonium. According to Dr. Helen Caldicott,“one millionth of a gram of plutonium, if inhaled can cause cancer”.
An opinion poll in May 2011 confirmed that more than 80 per cent of the Japanese population do not believe the government’s information regarding the nuclear crisis. (quoted in Sherwood Ross, Fukushima: Japan’s Second Nuclear Disaster, Global Research, November 10, 2011)
The Impacts in Japan
The Japanese government has been obliged to acknowledge that “the severity rating of its nuclear crisis … matches that of the 1986 Chernobyl disaster”. In a bitter irony, however, this tacit admission by the Japanese authorities has proven to been part of the cover-up of a significantly larger catastrophe, resulting in a process of global nuclear radiation and contamination:
“While Chernobyl was an enormous unprecedented disaster, it only occurred at one reactor and rapidly melted down. Once cooled, it was able to be covered with a concrete sarcophagus that was constructed with 100,000 workers. There are a staggering 4400 tons of nuclear fuel rods at Fukushima, which greatly dwarfs the total size of radiation sources at Chernobyl.” (Extremely High Radiation Levels in Japan: University Researchers Challenge Official Data, Global Research, April 11, 2011)
Fukushima in the wake of the Tsunami, March 2011
Worldwide Contamination
The dumping of highly radioactive water into the Pacific Ocean constitutes a potential trigger to a process of global radioactive contamination. Radioactive elements have not only been detected in the food chain in Japan, radioactive rain water has been recorded in California:
“Hazardous radioactive elements being released in the sea and air around Fukushima accumulate at each step of various food chains (for example, into algae, crustaceans, small fish, bigger fish, then humans; or soil, grass, cow’s meat and milk, then humans). Entering the body, these elements – called internal emitters – migrate to specific organs such as the thyroid, liver, bone, and brain, continuously irradiating small volumes of cells with high doses of alpha, beta and/or gamma radiation, and over many years often induce cancer”. (Helen Caldicott, Fukushima: Nuclear Apologists Play Shoot the Messenger on Radiation, The Age, April 26, 2011)
While the spread of radiation to the West Coast of North America was casually acknowledged, the early press reports (AP and Reuters) “quoting diplomatic sources” stated that only “tiny amounts of radioactive particles have arrived in California but do not pose a threat to human health.”
“According to the news agencies, the unnamed sources have access to data from a network of measuring stations run by the United Nations’ Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty Organization. …
… Greg Jaczko, chair of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, told White House reporters on Thursday (March 17) that his experts “don’t see any concern from radiation levels that could be harmful here in the United States or any of the U.S. territories”.

Public Health Disaster. Economic Impacts
What prevails is a well organized camouflage. The public health disaster in Japan, the contamination of water, agricultural land and the food chain, not to mention the broader economic and social implications, have neither been fully acknowledged nor addressed in a comprehensive and meaningful fashion by the Japanese authorities.
Japan as a nation state has been destroyed. Its landmass and territorial waters are contaminated. Part of the country is uninhabitable. High levels of radiation have been recorded in the Tokyo metropolitan area, which has a population of 39 million (2010) (more than the population of Canada, circa 34 million (2010)) There are indications that the food chain is contaminated throughout Japan:
Radioactive cesium exceeding the legal limit was detected in tea made in a factory in Shizuoka City, more than 300 kilometers away from the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant. Shizuoka Prefecture is one of the most famous tea producing areas in Japan.
A tea distributor in Tokyo reported to the prefecture that it detected high levels of radioactivity in the tea shipped from the city. The prefecture ordered the factory to refrain from shipping out the product. After the accident at the Fukushima nuclear power plant, radioactive contamination of tea leaves and processed tea has been found over a wide area around Tokyo. (See 5 More Companies Detect Radiation In Their Tea Above Legal Limits Over 300 KM From Fukushima, June 15, 2011)
Japan’s industrial and manufacturing base is prostrate. Japan is no longer a leading industrial power. The country’s exports have plummeted. The Tokyo government has announced its first trade deficit since 1980.
While the business media has narrowly centered on the impacts of power outages and energy shortages on the pace of productive activity, the broader issue pertaining to the outright radioactive contamination of the country’s infrastructure and industrial base is a “scientific taboo” (i.e the radiation of industrial plants, machinery and equipment, buildings, roads, etc). A report released in January 2012 points to the nuclear contamination of building materials used in the construction industry, in cluding roads and residential buildings throughout Japan.(See FUKUSHIMA: Radioactive Houses and Roads in Japan. Radioactive Building Materials Sold to over 200 Construction Companies, January 2012)
A “coverup report” by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (May 2011), entitled “Economic Impact of the Great East Japan Earthquake and Current Status of Recovery“presents “Economic Recovery” as a fait accompli. It also brushes aside the issue of radiation. The impacts of nuclear radiation on the work force and the country’s industrial base are not mentioned. The report states that the distance between Tokyo -Fukushima Dai-ichi is of the order of 230 km (about 144 miles) and that the levels of radiation in Tokyo are lower than in Hong Kong and New York City.(Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Impact of the Great East Japan Earthquake and Current Status of Recovery, p.15). This statement is made without corroborating evidence and in overt contradiction with independent radiation readings in Tokyo (se map below). In recent developments, Sohgo Security Services Co. is launching a lucrative “radiation measurement service targeting households in Tokyo and four surrounding prefectures”.
“A map of citizens’ measured radiation levels shows radioactivity is distributed in a complex pattern reflecting the mountainous terrain and the shifting winds across a broad area of Japan north of Tokyo which is in the center of the of bottom of the map.” “Radiation limits begin to be exceeded at just above 0.1 microsieverts/ hour blue. Red is about fifty times the civilian radiation limit at 5.0 microsieverts/hour. Because children are much more sensitive than adults, these results are a great concern for parents of young children in potentially affected areas.
The fundamental question is whether the vast array of industrial goods and components “Made in Japan” — including hi tech components, machinery, electronics, motor vehicles, etc — and exported Worldwide are contaminated? Were this to be the case, the entire East and Southeast Asian industrial base –which depends heavily on Japanese components and industrial technology– would be affected. The potential impacts on international trade would be farreaching. In this regard, in January, Russian officials confiscated irradiated Japanese automobiles and autoparts in the port of Vladivostok for sale in the Russian Federation. Needless to say, incidents of this nature in a global competitive environment, could lead to the demise of the Japanese automobile industry which is already in crisis.
While most of the automotive industry is in central Japan, Nissan’s engine factory in Iwaki city is 42 km from the Fukushima Daiichi plant. Is the Nissan work force affected? Is the engine plant contaminated? The plant is within about 10 to 20 km of the government’s “evacuation zone” from which some 200,000 people were evacuated (see map below).
Nuclear Energy and Nuclear War
The crisis in Japan has also brought into the open the unspoken relationship between nuclear energy and nuclear war.
Nuclear energy is not a civilian economic activity. It is an appendage of the nuclear weapons industry which is controlled by the so-called defense contractors. The powerful corporate interests behind nuclear energy and nuclear weapons overlap.
In Japan at the height of the disaster, “the nuclear industry and government agencies [were] scrambling to prevent the discovery of atomic-bomb research facilities hidden inside Japan’s civilian nuclear power plants”.1 (See Yoichi Shimatsu, Secret Weapons Program Inside Fukushima Nuclear Plant? Global Research, April 12, 2011)
It should be noted that the complacency of both the media and the governments to the hazards of nuclear radiation pertains to the nuclear energy industry as well as to to use of nuclear weapons. In both cases, the devastating health impacts of nuclear radiation are casually denied. Tactical nuclear weapons with an explosive capacity of up to six times a Hiroshima bomb are labelled by the Pentagon as “safe for the surrounding civilian population”.
No concern has been expressed at the political level as to the likely consequences of a US-NATO-Israel attack on Iran, using “safe for civilians” tactical nuclear weapons against a non-nuclear state.
Such an action would result in “the unthinkable”: a nuclear holocaust over a large part of the Middle East and Central Asia. A nuclear nightmare, however, would occur even if nuclear weapons were not used. The bombing of Iran’s nuclear facilities using conventional weapons would contribute to unleashing another Fukushima type disaster with extensive radioactive fallout. U.S.-Japan security treaty fatally delayed nuclear workers’ fight against meltdown
- by Yoichi Shimatsu – 2011-04-12
The specter of self-destruction can be ended only with the abrogation of the U.S.-Japan security treaty, the root cause of the secrecy that fatally delayed the nuclear workers’ fight against meltdown.
The tendency to deny systemic errors – “in order to avoid public panic” – is rooted in the determination of an entrenched Japanese bureaucracy to protect itself…
- by Dr. Joseph J. Mangano, Dr. Janette Sherman – 2011-12-20
In the US, Following the Fukushima fallout, samples of radioactivity in precipitation, air, water, and milk, taken by the U.S. government, showed levels hundreds of times above normal…
At Fukushima, reports confirm that alpha, beta, gamma particles and neutrons have been released:
“While non-ionizing radiation and x-rays are a result of electron transitions in atoms or molecules, there are three forms of ionizing radiation that are a result of activity within the nucleus of an atom. These forms of nuclear radiation are alpha particles (α-particles), beta particles (β-particles) and gamma rays (γ-rays).
Alpha particles are heavy positively charged particles made up of two protons and two neutrons. They are essentially a helium nucleus and are thus represented in a nuclear equation by either α or . See the Alpha Decay page for more information on alpha particles.
Beta particles come in two forms: and . particles are just electrons that have been ejected from the nucleus. This is a result of sub-nuclear reactions that result in a neutron decaying to a proton. The electron is needed to conserve charge and comes from the nucleus. It is not an orbital electron. particles are positrons ejected from the nucleus when a proton decays to a neutron. A positron is an anti-particle that is similar in nearly all respects to an electron, but has a positive charge. See the Beta Decay page for more information on beta particles.
Gamma rays are photons of high energy electromagnetic radiation (light). Gamma rays generally have the highest frequency and shortest wavelengths in the electromagnetic spectrum. There is some overlap in the frequencies of gamma rays and x-rays; however, x-rays are formed from electron transitions while gamma rays are formed from nuclear transitions. See the Gamma Rays for more” (SOURCE: Canadian Nuclear Association)
“A neutron is a particle that is found in the nucleus, or center, of atoms. It has a mass very close to protons, which also reside in the nucleus of atoms. Together, they make up almost all of the mass of individual atoms. Each has a mass of about 1 amu, which is roughly 1.6×10-27kg. Protons have a positive charge and neutrons have no charge, which is why they were more difficult to discover.” (SOURCE: Neutron Radiation)
“Many different radioactive isotopes are used in or are produced by nuclear reactors. The most important of these are described below:
1. Uranium 235 (U-235) is the active component of most nuclear reactor fuel.
2. Plutonium (Pu-239) is a key nuclear material used in modern nuclear weapons and is also present as a by-product in certain reprocessed fuels used in some nuclear reactors. Pu-239 is also produced in uranium reactors as a byproduct of fission of U-235.
3. Cesium (Cs-137 ) is a fission product of U-235. It emits beta and gamma radiation and can cause radiation sickness and death if exposures are high enough. …
4. Iodine 131 (I-131), also a fission product of U-235, emits beta and gamma radiation. After inhalation or ingestion, it is absorbed by and concentrated in the thyroid gland, where its beta radiation damages nearby thyroid tissue (SOURCE: Amesh A. Adalja, MD, Eric S. February is our month. It begins with her old birthday, the day she began her Earthwalk on 2 February 1942, and ends on her current birthday returning to Spirit, on 28 February. This is only for as long as the Gregorian calendar exists, of course.
It was three years ago that we were sharing those intense final days of her Earthwalk before she transitioned in 2009 from Pheobus, Virginia. Pheobus is a barrio of the larger adjacent town of Hampton. It has a rich history in the very recent story of the colonial occupation of this continent that the Indigenous people call Turtle Island. Juliet’s final residence and place of departure was less than three minutes across the road to the edge of the bay.
Those first days after she left, I met with the world she had protected me from so well, head on. If I hadn’t been so thoroughly exhausted, I am sure I would have picked up the undertaker by his ear and thrown him out of the house. I felt like I was in the company of a vulture who was taking his kill while still alive, me. Anything to manipulate my fragile and tender emotional state to get himself an extra buck. No love, no respect, no dignity. And all the while I was mindful that his presence was a gift. This company had been referred by a member of the community who came forward to provide us with invaluable assistance. Being rude would have been a worse indignation of myself. He was doing his job. He was doing what he was taught was right and this was/is the largely accepted standard for how we respect (?) life and transitioning (death). I was grateful for the first hand experience of this breach of humanity – no blame, no judgment.
As the undertaker showed me, the human is profoundly conditioned to believe that when a Soul departs from the body, there is no further contact or relation with this Soul anymore, ever. Hence, this truncated human experience where one believes oneself is disconnected from the communication channels based in/originating from the ether, that in reality actually dominate our entire human experience, likewise truncates meaningful dialogue once the transition has occurred. This presented me with a challenge of letting people help me based in trusting their intentions, but no matter what they said I knew that this Soul we called Juliet was in the room with us. She was not dead, her body had expired. That is a substantial loss to be sure, and it is the least significant part in the conversation of Soul growth. To begin and end postmortem conversations with loss is not my experience, nor is it the truth. Some of the greatest gifts of understanding and unconditional self love have emerged since her departure from her body. Our new relationship continues to be an essential part of my maturing process here in my Earthwalk underway…
How could it be that it never occurred to me that the loving Soul of Juliet would disappear? It was a work of genius and one that I may never fully appreciate in this body.
In this world of the truncated human, the truncation is quite deliberate. Of all the controversies I have found myself in speaking out about the apparently flourishing insanity of this world, nothing is more controversial than the infinite power of the integrated heart-mind human potential. The purpose of creating a slave race is well served by developing a ‘truncated human playpen’ where humans basically run around with their hearts closed and their higher heads cut off. Who could think of such a thing? How could the human be manipulated to kill itself and all life around it? We’re free, right?!
Big deep breath.
Because my childhood was so violent, I instinctively took refuge with my spirit companions who now I call My Friends in High Places. Instinct is the highest form of accessible human intelligence in my opinion. It is the gateway to our inter/multidimensional portals inherent in the species itself. It is the intelligence that emerges from the core of our species code to further and protect life, all life, not just our own. Instinct guides our multidimensional, interconnected experience. When our instincts have been impeded on any level, say by the insertion of fear, the human becomes disoriented. A human with a developed intellect and a closed heart (denial of feelings) may never know the difference. As long as its basic survival needs are met, it never questions a truncated reality. The slave matrix is a work of art in its own right.
At 16 I began my sovereign journey, and in the spring of my 18th year I first met Juliet. She was not yet called Juliet. She was Guinnevere Nash, the ex-communicated beloved twin sister of the political prisoner, Graham Nash. She had been marked for expiration, to be as gentle as possible, and this resulted in what she called her ‘big’ and most well documented Near Death Experience or Eternal Life Experience, as she and I both prefer. Her coming back to her body did not make her life easier to be sure. It was early in her recovery that we began our 27 years together, this time.
I knew she was coming into my life. I had several dreams preparing me, particularly in my early teens. In the few months prior to our first meeting, I had several waking visions alerting me that I would soon meet with a female refugee from the music business and I was to help her. I was paying attention as best I could in my very angry and wounded place at that time. I never doubted my inner guidance. I didn’t always listen to it, but I never doubted it.
Life with Juliet provided me an opportunity to continue developing my connection to my inner life with passion. Intuition was always the dominant voice. Our dreams, feelings, and multidimensional observations were integrated in the totality of our dialogue and experience. She was an adamant advocate for being true to Soul and said as much in very plain language. I have never met anybody as honest and consistent as Juliet. Having no religious dogma to untangle, I was ready to meet and pursue the life of Soul. And I promise you, she would never have me a clone of hers. Not a chance. To be true to my voice is not to parrot hers. We never would have endured all we did in those years had I not the integrity to stand in my own truth from the beginning.
There were less than a handful of days that we did not know where and how each other were. In the few times we were separated, we were given information in our dreams etc. and were always guided back to each other. We called this practice telepathy. We were consciously activating our connection on the higher vibratory planes beyond words and the deception they are capable of. We would ‘tune in’ to each other and gave each other full permission to do so. Permission is very important in accessing clear and real information.
Our telepathic bond was solid when she took her last breath. As I witnessed her gentle loving spirit come for the tattered remains in that body that had suffered so much, our connection in Soul heightened in that very moment. A moment that can never be taken from me, not explained away by some dogmatist in scientists clothing…nor will my sacred inner life be trampled by the ‘seekers and self proclaimed sages’, genuine and false.
That moment of her departure was the beginning for both of us. It is a birthday we both share now and we celebrate our communion every day. Letting go of how we used to be has been the key to open and embrace a totally new dialogue with each other. I will always miss that cuppa tea with her in her body and yet, our new relationship is fulfilling beyond measure. She doesn’t call me by name. She calls me by song and somehow I know my song. I know hers as well. She takes me to many breathtaking places in the cosmos, and radiates from her Light Body proud among my Friends in High Places.
I can only offer my truth, and I know that there are many who are ready to raise the bar in conversation and experience of who we are and what we are doing here as Beings Human on planet Earth.
As the Heart of Humanity opens in the world emerging, remembering who we are and returning to Soul, my story is quite normal. I am not a ‘freak who talks to dead people’ or ‘imaginary beings’ as the dogmatist propaganda would, and has successfully convinced, the large body of the truncated human population to believe. The undertakers are doing their part in the slave matrix encouraging the truncated humans – the living body of heartless, lost humans – to allow themselves to be tools of distraction and reaction, rather than intelligent vessels of Light and Love reflecting the eternal Soul of the Creator itself.

February Forecast Overview:
On the morning of February 3, Neptune’s charter enters Pisces, its ocean home. The last time this happened, California dreaming was gold rush driven. As the last vestiges of slavery continued to divide a nation, Lincoln would become president, Marx and Engels penned the famous phrase “Workers of the world unite”, vocalizing the revolutionary wave that rocked the capitals of Europe.
Today, instead of a gold rush, there’s a race on for oil. Instead of slave to master, we are tethered to the dwindling pay-check and to rising taxes. Every 165 years, Neptune in Pisces removes the blindfold so that we may see again. It prompts the re-envisioning of a reality that will eventually transcend beyond the constraints of the existing social world order. It provokes a more urgent search for collective and personal redemption. To this cause, we must surrender in totality. Through 2026, Neptune in Pisces will represent as a major signature of the times – of this, mankind’s transitional epoch.
Neptune’s entrance into Pisces on Feb 3 may sweep the spotlight away from the Canadian federal budget and the mud slinging White House race while anticipation builds for Super Bowl Sunday.
Hours prior to the full moon in Leo on Feb 7, Saturn in Libra begins retrograde. Acting like a release valve, Saturn retrograde serves to unblock that which has been building momentum and is now sufficiently fuelled for action. It dismantles the outworn rationales prompted by “I should”, and instead refortifies personal will to reclaim empowered self rule. The Leo full moon delivers an unmistakable message. It calls for you to recognize yourself as a creator extraordinaire. If you are not happy about what is occurring in your life, then it is time to risk on a new wind. Set a new goal, experiment more and angst less. Where there’s a spark, there’s fire. A few short hours after the full moon peaks, Venus advances into passionate and driven Aries. Aries is a spontaneous energy, let it grab you. Through mid month, Venus and Ceres in Aries will continue to stoke you with enough fuel to get you up and at ‘em.
It seems we’ll have something extra to talk about as moon rises full. It isn’t Super Tuesday in the USA, but even so, the day can produce a significant buzz. Mercury and the sun in Aquarius align in the early hours of Feb 7 adds a spark and blasts more into circulation. An announcement, discovery, a new trend, or unexpected news awakens “movers and shakers”. Politics may take a twist, perhaps surprisingly so. Will Gingrich concede? Speculative markets are likely to see especially high volume. There can be protests, disruptions, or eruptions. Perhaps we’ll see weather extremes too.
Get a move on as best you can and make productive use of your time and energy this month. Looking to impress the one you love? February 13 could be even sweeter than sweetheart’s day thanks to Mercury’s exit out of Aquarius and into romantic Pisces. By February 26, Mercury will begin to set up for its retrograde cycle which begins on March 4.

ARIES (MARCH 19 ~ APRIL 19)
It seems you have something newly brewing at month’s start. Once the moon becomes full, you’ll discover what has so far escaped your consciousness or view. Over this first week, Mercury’s building alignment with the sun can keep you immersed in social activity, or conversely, it can find you aiming for extra breathing space. Think-tank, study, or investigation time is a good focus for now.
Along with the full moon in Leo, Venus in Aries, February 7 to March 5, will light a new fire, perhaps surprisingly so. Feb 9, Venus aligns with Uranus – let spontaneity take the lead. Feb 14 can bring push come to shove, see you step over a significant threshold and/or make a major breakthrough. You could feel forced to take a stand or declare yourself in some definitive way. A new concern, direction, investigation, or dialogue can launch. Feb 18 through 22 stirs the Pisces depths. Allow the natural currents to take you where they will. Seek sanctuary or spiritual replenishment; rest, slip out of view, conjure, wander; let romance and the creative muses whisk you away.
TAURUS (APRIL 19 ~ MAY 20)
The benefits of Neptune’s advance into Pisces are not to be underestimated. Neptune will open you up to yourself in a way you have not yet fully experienced. As time advances, you’ll feel better integrated, within yourself and in relationships in general.
Allow yourself to dream and to envision where you want to be. If you can’t see it in your heart and mind, how can you expect to get yourself there? Neptune now prompts you to put your creativity to work and to aspire higher.
Mercury aligned with the sun over this first week proves there are more ways to you to reinvent the wheel. Explore new avenues, try a new hat on for size. A new career ambition or project may be just the thing that will build a better bridge into tomorrow. The full moon Feb 7 can illuminate you or catapult you in some unexpected way. You could face an important decision or bare it all talk. The full moon can bring something unexpected to do with home or family matters. When you play your cards right, there’s opportunity for the taking.
Feb 18 through the new moon on February 21, the stars ease you along. Things should progress quite well around this time. The groove is good, so you could coast or bide time and get by just fine, but you’ll seize the best advantage if you apply yourself while the getting runs so smooth.
GEMINI (MAY 20 – JUNE 20)
Ambition looks good on you. Through the full moon Feb 13, Mercury in Aquarius keeps you buzzed up and welcome to new possibilities. Your creative inspiration and ability to make good connections is now at peak. This first week of the month favours attention seeking. Promote, apply, sign-up, study, negotiate, circulate, socialize. Good things can happen when you least expect it. The informing full moon on Feb 7 can deliver exciting news or an unexpected advantage, good deal, or opportunity. It can bring an occasion to flirt or to show off. The full moon may also provide you with an extra edge of luck or good timing. You could score a good deal. On another note, you could give in to extravagance, indulge in an added luxury or guilty pleasure, or be prompted to take a greater than usual risk. While an educated risk is an opportunity in the making, don’t gamble with what you can’t afford to lose. Feb 15 can be a day to cut your losses, to let it go, to move on to something new.
In the days prior to and following the new moon on February 21, allow yourself and others extra margin. Creative rather than left brain work is recommended. New prospects or potentials can bud, but don’t bank on the promise until you give it the test of time. If you have to submit paperwork, sign official forms, or renegotiate legal or financial matters, make sure to read the fine print. The propensity for missing important details is higher than usual. Your health and your susceptibility to advertising is more vulnerable too. Make sure to clarify agreements, plans, and intentions so that it doesn’t come back at you later. Mercury retrograde is soon upon us. Don’t fall asleep at the wheel!
CANCER (JUNE 20 – JULY 22)
Neptune’s travel through Pisces will open you to life in ways you can’t imagine now. You’ll feel more attuned to the world and to your higher consciousness too. Your intuitive faculty can grow stronger; your spirituality can gain new life too. For some, this Neptune placement will prompt a vocational calling of great purpose. For some, it can set the stage for fame, for others, true love.
On the more immediately level, over the first week of the month, Mercury’s alignment with the sun can dish up a new financial opportunity. This planetary pairing can also help you to shatter through your own psychological, emotional, or relationship ceilings. What you discover, about yourself or another can be significantly life-altering. The full moon in Leo on Feb 7 is accompanied by Saturn in Libra beginning retrograde in the early a.m., and Venus (ruler of Libra) advancing into Aries by late night. That’s quite a stellar boost. Watch for a personal breakthrough moment, a revealing exchange, or for a sudden change of course. A relationship, legal, or financial impasse can suddenly give way.
Don’t be afraid to give up to get. Mercury’s advance into Pisces by Feb 13, the sun’s advance into Pisces on February 18, and the new moon on Feb 20 dish up your most opportune portion of the month. Relinquish as the moment dictates, follow the natural river flow, stay confident in your creator self. The universe is abundant, even when you can’t recognize that it is.
LEO (JULY 22 – AUG 22)
Fresh starts, next bests, second tries. You are currently steeped in a discovery process that calls for significant experimentation. Stay observant, open to possibilities, and reserve judgment until you have explored more. Mercury’s building alignment with sun over this first week of the month suggests you are crossing a lot of new ground. Someone or something in particular can have you quite buzzed up and/or keep you guessing. So much is up in the air. There’s extra risk to face. Even though you seem to be very aware of this fact, you can still be taken by surprise.
One way or another, the full moon in Leo on Feb 7 will put you in the know. You could have a sudden epiphany or shatter through a personal mindset or impasse. A financial, legal, or relationship matter can suddenly see progress too. Once past this threshold peak, you’ll find yourself off to the races. Circumstances will fire up or play out fast, especially in the days immediately following the full moon. (Feb 9, 10.) By mid month (Feb 14, 15) you’ll know better where it will lead/settle. Venus in Aries, Feb 7 to March 4, offers fresh perspective and new opportunity. February 18 to 22, go with the flow rather than to push or strain. What’s brewing or possible will naturally reveal itself. If you feel confused or uncertain, pause until you gain a stronger signal. If you still must take action, keep bottom lines in mind, clear your clutter, and aim for what is simple, most productive and useful.
VIRGO (AUG 22 – SEPT 22)
Over this first week or so, Mercury in alignment with the sun can dish up a new challenge for you to face. Positively, this aspect could introduce you to new techniques, solutions, training programs, or job prospects. Someone in your daily get go can create a significant impact, plus or minus. If you can’t quite figure it out how to navigate, look to the revealing full moon on Feb 7, to clarify more and show you how to play it next. A creative insight, lucrative potential, or helpful information can get you re-juiced and/or recommitted. Once Venus lights a fire in Aries, late on Feb 7, you’ll find yourself on a much faster track.
Over the coming year, Neptune’s advance into Virgo will be especially influential for those born around Aug 22, but of course, each of us will attune to Neptune in our own unique ways. For all Virgo folks, Neptune in Pisces will open you up to yourself and the world around you beyond what you have experienced so far. The prompt advocates that you dissolve the consciousness of “I can’t” in order to embrace “I can” more fully. Neptune asks you to lose yourself in order to find yourself – in other words, to surrender who you’ve been in order to step more fully into who you are. Give yourself full creative licence and try a new you on for size.
Feb 18 through 22 can find you completely immersed. These few days can make you conscious of something you had not before considered or realized. You can be especially emotional responsive, perhaps even overly-sensitized to your surroundings. Immunity may be lacking, so make sure to safeguard your health and don’t let yourself get talked into things that are costly or an imposition. On a positive note, Feb 18 to 22 are ideal for dreaming, conjuring, and creative expression; for spiritual replenishment, or a romantic interlude.
LIBRA (SEPT 22-OCT 22)
The full moon on Feb 7 can produce unexpected excitement. You could have an announcement or news to share. Someone could make a surprise visit or entrance into your life. (If your due date is around this time, know the delivery could be an especially quick one.) A windfall, prize or contest win is within the range of possibility. Try your luck with a radio contest, a scratch & win, put your name into the hat, etc. – but don’t risk what you can’t afford to lose. A concert, game, or some other great entertainment can give you plenty to talk about too. Aspire higher, raise your own bar. It’s an ideal time to show off what you can do or to take a stand on something that matters deeply to you.
A new romance can make you feel like you’ve been struck by destiny’s thunderbolt. When it’s right for you, you’ll know it in no uncertain terms. Regarding new interests, relationships, independence, or ambitions, watch for Venus in Aries, Feb 7 to March 4, to keep the fire going strong and to speed things very quickly along.
Neptune in Pisces, beginning Feb 3, and Pisces month beginning Feb 18, adds emphasis on finding more meaning and purpose, in your work and in your life in general. Volunteer activities or concentration on spiritual development can fill in that missing something. Even if you feel you have no time for the extras, know every drop in the bucket adds up. Over time, each thought, each prayer, each contribution will serve to quench the ocean’s needs.
SCORPIO (OCT 22 ~ NOV 21)
“Have to” can weigh heavily on you now. You can feel particularly strained between the crosscurrents of stop and go. Psychological or emotional pressure can get the better of you in this first week of the month, but watch for the full moon catalyst to be a stress reliever. Accompanying the full moon, Saturn’s turn to retrograde and the advance of Venus firing up in Aries can disintegrate blocks, doubt, dilemma, or resistance. You should find you can harness the drive and opportunity you couldn’t claim previously. In fact you could be surprised to find that moving it forward is much easier than you have anticipated.
Neptune in Pisces is a realigning and softening influence. It can also be an exposing influence, making you more obvious to yourself or to others. Positively, the coming Neptune in Pisces years will make you more pliable (in the best of ways), more open to sharing more of yourself, and more willing to explore beyond where you have been so far. It can keep you inspired and hopeful regarding love and life in general. It opens up new potentials and can help you to resource more of your natural talents and creativity. Feb 18 to 22, you can feel very much at one and/or at peace within yourself. Should you find yourself lost within your thoughts or heart, or floating “elsewhere”, well that’s fine too. A temporary escape or cut-out is as good as a rest. This is a great few days to submerge yourself; to dive into a creative project, to seek sanctuary and healing, to gift yourself more, to let romance sweep you away, or to let go and let God. It’s also a good time to start a marketing campaign. For some, Neptune in Pisces can open the pathway to your ultimate path of service. For some, it is a fame generating influence.
SAGITTARIUS (NOV 21 ~ DEC 21)
Neptune in Pisces, beginning Feb 4, ushers you into a poignant life chapter. It is one that will find you craving more time to escape into the recesses of your consciousness. This is where you conjure and create the best, where you can commune directly with your soul. Peace, quiet, solitude, privacy, and spiritual replenishment will become even more vital a requirement. This Neptune placement and the Pisces concentration later in the month, especially Feb 18 to 22, can make you especially responsive and sensitized to environments, moods, and people. Too, you’ll find that you grow more protective regarding your family and those closest to your heart. As Pisces month gets under way, your vulnerabilities can be exposed. This can be a good thing when it sweetens the moment, but of course it is not such a good thing if you feel it marks you as prey.
It is important to face yourself honesty. Are you covering up something that you know is not in your best interest? Come clean with yourself and seek professional help if you have addictions, food issues, etc. Your odds for personal triumphs are bettered now.
The match-strike Leo full moon on Feb 7 (and the few days following) can be the highlight of the month. Luck and synchronicity is on your side. You could receive special attention, good news, a surprise invitation, a gift, or an award. Watch for someone or something unexpected, and be ready to take a big leap of faith.
CAPRICORN (DEC 21 ~ JAN 20)
While subtle, Neptune’s advance into Pisces can usher in a breath of fresh air. If you are sensitive enough, you’ll notice that you have a new attitude or approach to life, and that you have begun to express more of yourself. As you attune to Neptune, you can find it is easier to tap into your creativity and natural resources; also that it’s easier to simply be yourself in social situations. This natural progression fits on you like a glove.
Over this first week you can expect to stay busy, both physically and mentally. You can come up with some clever creative ideas or you could discover more lucrative money-making prospects. It is wise to also turn your attention to financial improvement. Better progress can be made.
Too, Mercury and the sun can stimulate a fresh perspective on wants, needs, resources and capacities. Progressively, you’ll get clearer on an issue, relationship, plan, or goal. To a large extent, you can feel like things are really coming together very well. Your intuition can partner with a great sense of timing. Act or speak up when the impulse strikes. Even when the results aren’t what you expect, understand it as a piece of the bigger picture puzzle.
If you find yourself channelling your inner rebel, there’s like to be a root cause. Don’t stuff it, observe and analyze instead. It can be an appropriate time to push your boundaries or to be a risk taker, just make sure you stay smart about it.
This first week of the month can also find you wrestling or racing ahead of yourself. Premonitions or intuitive flashes are worth heeding. You could feel anxious to see what’s around the corner or to get onto that fresh page. You’ll get there soon enough. Watch the triggering full moon Feb 7 for a release, a momentous meeting or exchange, or to put you in the know, perhaps unexpectedly so. Relationship or financial matters can reach a break-though or breaking point. From here, you’ll be able to navigate your way with a freer conscience.
Once Pisces month begins (Feb 18), a new trend, study, interest, or remedy could grab hold of you. It (or they) could be just the ticket. Follow what builds most naturally. It could lead you somewhere good.
AQUARIUS (JAN 20 ~ FEB 18)
A new objective or interest seems to have claimed your attention. You’ll stay peaked and curious right through the full moon on Feb 7. In the mood for a makeover? Shake it up a little, change it a lot. Whatever strikes your fancy. Through this first week, Mercury and the sun bring the ideal time to hit your own refresh button.
On another note, this first week can see you grow more consciously aware of your instincts, impulses, and reactions. You could have a sense of watching yourself in a mirror. Your heightened perception can be a great teacher, listen up!
On Feb 3, Neptune will leave the sign of Aquarius for good. You’ve had plenty of time to try life on for size. Neptune’s advance into Pisces will help you to utilize and apply what you have learned so far. You’ll reclaim and resource more from your hidden depths. Positively, this Neptune placement can help you tap into more of your creativity and potentials, to feel better integrated at the core. If you find yourself feeling uncertain or confused, remember to respond rather than react and you’ll eventually get yourself back on track.
The full moon can bring an opportunity for new independence and a fresh start. It can be an ideal time to launch a new business venture. Someone significant could make their presence or intentions better known. A first meet and greet, an invitation, an intuitive flash, news, a new contract or relationship is a start of so much more to come.
PISCES (FEB 18 ~ MARCH 19)
Neptune’s advance into Pisces will open you up to life in ways you have not yet experienced. Now and over the coming years, this bigger picture transit positions you at ripened stage of soul evolution. You are just at the start of so much more coming down the pike. Maintain faith in your deserving and don’t ever give up on your dreams!
In the more immediate program, start of the month makes you very aware of the world around you – what’s missing from it, and what it will take for you to move from A to B. Relationship and financial matters come into sharper view now too. You’ll see that some of the writing on the wall is too obvious to be ignored any longer.
Over this first week, stay observant and act on your intuitive flashes. Tuesday’s full moon can fire up a new incentive. A sudden insight, new technique, piece of information or a fresh challenge can be a positive stimulant. You could stumble upon a better plan or more useful information. A closed door could open; a lucrative new job, money making prospect, or better technique may suddenly appear. Venus in Aries, Feb 7 to March 4, increases your confidence and creativity. It also provides you with freshly refuelled initiative. This Venus placement is good for your libido too.
Feb 18 to 22 is a time to go submerge yourself in the immediacy of the moment, to go by feel, and to allow the natural flow to guide you. It can be a time of creative exploration, romance, or self promotion. Its also an ideal time to take a pause, to rest, heal and recharge.

I once belonged to a wonderful religion. I belonged to a religion that allows those of us who believe in it to feel that we are the greatest people in the world—and feel sorry for ourselves at the same time. Once, I thought that I truly belonged in this world of security, self-pity, self-proclaimed intelligence, and perfect moral aesthetic. I thought myself to be somewhat privileged early on. It was soon revealed to me, however, that my fellow believers and I were not part of anything so flattering.
Although I was fortunate enough to have parents who did not try to force me into any one set of beliefs, being Jewish was in no way possible to escape growing up. It was constantly reinforced at every holiday, every service, and every encounter with the rest of my relatives. I was forever reminded how intelligent my family was, how important it was to remember where we had come from, and to be proud of all the suffering our people had overcome in order to finally achieve their dream in the perfect society of Israel.
This last mandatory belief was one which I never fully understood, but I always kept the doubts I had about Israel’s spotless reputation to the back of my mind. “Our people” were fighting a war, one I did not fully comprehend, but I naturally assumed that it must be justified. We would never be so amoral as to fight an unjust war. Yet as I came to learn more about our so-called “conflict” with the Palestinians, I grew more concerned. I routinely heard about unexplained mass killings, attacks on medical bases, and other alarmingly violent actions for which I could see no possible reason. “Genocide” almost seemed the more appropriate term, yet no one I knew would have ever dreamed of portraying the war in that manner; they always described the situation in shockingly neutral terms. Whenever I brought up the subject, I was always given the answer that there were faults on both sides, that no one was really to blame, or simply that it was a “difficult situation.” It was not until eighth grade that I fully understood what I was on the side of. One afternoon, after a fresh round of killings was announced on our bus ride home, I asked two of my friends who actively supported Israel what they thought. “We need to defend our race,” they told me. “It’s our right.”
“We need to defend our race.”
Where had I heard that before? Wasn’t it the same excuse our own country had used to justify its abuses of African-Americans sixty years ago? In that moment, I realized how similar the two struggles were—like the white radicals of that era, we controlled the lives of another people whom we abused daily, and no one could speak out against us. It was too politically incorrect to do so. We had suffered too much, endured too many hardships, and overcome too many losses to be criticized. I realized then that I was in no way part of a “conflict”—the term “Israeli/Palestinian Conflict” was no more accurate than calling the Civil Rights Movement the “Caucasian/ African-American Conflict.” In both cases, the expression was a blatant euphemism: it gave the impression that this was a dispute among equals and that both held an equal share of the blame. However, in both, there was clearly an oppressor and an oppressed, and I felt horrified at the realization that I was by nature on the side of the oppressors. I was grouped with the racial supremacists. I was part of a group that killed while praising its own intelligence and reason. I was part of a delusion.
I thought of the leader of the other oppressed side of years ago, Martin Luther King. He too had been part of a struggle that had been hidden and glossed over for the convenience of those against whom he fought. What would his reaction have been? As it turned out, it was precisely the same as mine. As he wrote in his letter from Birmingham Jail, he believed the greatest enemy of his cause to be “Not the White Citizen’s Counciler or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate, who…lives by a mythical concept of time…. Lukewarm acceptance is much more bewildering than outright rejection.” When I first read those words, I felt as if I were staring at myself in a mirror. All my life I had been conditioned to simply treat the so-called conflict with the same apathy which King had so forcefully condemned. I, too, held the role of an accepting moderate. I, too, “lived by a mythical concept of time,” shrouded in my own surreal world and the set of beliefs that had been assigned to me. I had never before felt so trapped.
I decided to make one last appeal to my religion. If it could not answer my misgivings, no one could. The next time I attended a service, there was an open question-and-answer session about any point of our religion. I wanted to place my dilemma in as clear and simple terms as I knew how. I thought out my exact question over the course of the seventeen-minute cello solo that was routinely played during service. Previously, I had always accepted this solo as just another part of the program, yet now it seemed to capture the whole essence of our religion: intelligent and well-crafted on paper, yet completely oblivious to the outside world (the soloist did not have the faintest idea of how masterfully he was putting us all to sleep). When I was finally given the chance to ask a question, I asked, “I want to support Israel. But how can I when it lets its army commit so many killings?” I was met with a few angry glares from some of the older men, but the rabbi answered me. “It is a terrible thing, isn’t it?” he said. “But there’s nothing we can do. It’s just a fact of life.” I knew, of course, that the war was no simple matter and that we did not by any means commit murder for its own sake, but to portray our thousands of killings as a “fact of life” was simply too much for me to accept. I thanked him and walked out shortly afterward. I never went back. I thought about what I could do. If nothing else, I could at least try to free myself from the burden of being saddled with a belief I could not hold with a clear conscience. I could not live the rest of my life as one of the pathetic moderates whom King had rightfully portrayed as the worst part of the problem. I did not intend to go on being one of the Self-Chosen People, identifying myself as part of a group to which I did not belong.
It was different not being the ideal nice Jewish boy. The difference was subtle, yet by no means unaffecting. Whenever it came to the attention of any of our more religious family friends that I did not share their beliefs, I was met with either a disapproving stare and a quick change of the subject or an alarmed cry of, “What? Doesn’t Israel matter to you?” Relatives talked down to me more afterward, but eventually I stopped noticing the way adults around me perceived me. It was worth it to no longer feel as though I were just another apathetic part of the machine.
I can obviously never know what it must have been like to be an African-American in the 1950s. I do feel, however, as though I know exactly what it must have been like to be white during that time, to live under an aura of moral invincibility, to hold unchallengeable beliefs, and to contrive illusions of superiority to avoid having to face simple everyday truths. That illusion was nice while it lasted, but I decided to pass it up. I have never been happier.
WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 18, 2012 AT 11:24AM GILAD ATZMON
This week, Jesse Lieberfeld an11th-grade American Jewish teenager won the Dietrich College’s 2012 Martin Luther King, Jr. Writing Awards for composing a beautiful piece about his own moral awakening and journey away from Judaism.
“I once belonged to a wonderful religion. I belonged to a religion that allows those of us who believe in it to feel that we are the greatest people in the world—and feel sorry for ourselves at the same time,” says young Jesse. However, it seems that it didn’t take too long before Jesse found out for himself that what he was part of was neither flattering or glorious.
Jewish tribal cultural indoctrination is a full-on, comprehensive process. “Although I was fortunate enough to have parents who did not try to force me into any one set of beliefs, being Jewish was in no way possible to escape growing up”, says Jesse. “It was constantly reinforced at every holiday, every service, and every encounter with the rest of my relatives.”
Inherent to the culture and its maintenance is self-love. “I was forever reminded how intelligent my family was, how important it was to remember where we had come from, and to be proud of all the suffering our people had overcome in order to finally achieve their dream in the perfect society of Israel.”
Jewish ideological and cultural ‘programming’ is rather sophisticated. It is a unique dynamic pattern practiced in both a collective and an individual way. But those who carry the message aren’t themselves fully aware of their role within the tribal ideologythey aim to maintain.
Of course Jews hold many different, and even contradictory, political beliefs. But however diverse their views may be somehow, those who are identified as Jews politically always unite against any attempt to criticise the cultural and ideological foundation of their tribal bond. Young Jesse is clearly aware of this. On the surface, it was the crimes against the Palestinians that provoked his ethical sense. “I grew more concerned. I routinely heard about unexplained mass killings, attacks on medical bases, and other alarmingly violent actions for which I could see no possible reason. ‘Genocide’ almost seemed the more appropriate term, yet no one I knew would have ever dreamed of portraying the war in that manner; they always described the situation in shockingly neutral terms.”
One of the most sophisticated tribal aspects of Jewish culture maintenance is the gradual manner in which criticism is silenced. “Whenever I brought up the subject, I was always given the answer that there were faults on both sides, that no one was really to blame, or simply that it was a “difficult situation.” This common Hasbara argument on the surface sounds reasonable but it ignores the fact that in the Israeli/Palestinian conflict there is a clear distinction between the aggressor and the victim. The Israelis are the ethnic cleansers and the occupiers. The Palestinians, on the other hand, are the expelled, the racially discriminated, the abused, deprived, locked behind walls and barbed wire in open air jails and, in some cases, even starved.
But Jesse seems to be made of the stuff of honesty. Unlike some of the Jewish leftists who presents a pseudo-moral argument only to gain credibility so that he/she can then vet the discourse, young Jesse presses on, stripping himself of any trace of choseness and exceptionalism. “It was not until eighth grade that I fully understood what I was on the side of. One afternoon, after a fresh round of killings was announced on our bus ride home, I asked two of my friends who actively supported Israel what they thought. “We need to defend our race,” they told me. “It’s our right.”
This “We need to defend our race,” is a common excuse Jewish activists use amongst themselves. Although Jews do not form a race, Jewish identity politics is still overtly racist. In fact, any form of Jewish secular identity politics is racially driven and fuelled with racial exclusivity. This applies not only to pro Israeli Jews but unfortunately also to Jews-only ‘anti’ Zionist groups.
I guess it is obvious where Jesse is heading. He clearly sees an ideological continuum between the civil right movement in America and the Palestinian liberation struggle. In both struggles, there is clearly a racially driven oppressor and a victim collective – and Jesse draws the necessary conclusion, “I felt horrified at the realization that I was by nature on the side of the oppressors. I was grouped with the racial supremacists. I was part of a group that killed while praising its own intelligence and reason. I was part of a delusion.”
Jesse has obviously identified the Jewish politics and culture of which he was a part, as a form of ‘racial supremacy.’ He never mentions Zionism, in fact, the word Zionism is not mentioned once in his sincere award-winning post. He simply speaks about his Jewish upbringing, the culture and the ideology.
Young Jesse has already grasped that an appeal to his Jewish friends is not going to lead anywhere. He writes, “I decided to make one last appeal to my religion…The next time I attended a service, there was an open question-and-answer session about any point of our religion…When I was finally given the chance to ask a question, I asked, ‘I want to support Israel. But how can I when it lets its army commit so many killings?’ I was met with a few angry glares from some of the older men, but the rabbi answered me. “It is a terrible thing, isn’t it?’ he said. ‘But there’s nothing we can do. It’s just a fact of life.’ I knew, of course, that the war was no simple matter and that we did not by any means commit murder for its own sake, but to portray our thousands of killings as a ‘fact of life’ was simply too much for me to accept.”
It seems that Jesse has the courage to redeem his soul. “I thanked him (the Rabbi) and walked out shortly afterward. I never went back…. If nothing else, I could at least try to free myself from the burden of being saddled with a belief I could not hold with a clear conscience.…I did not intend to go on being one of the Self-Chosen People, identifying myself as part of a group to which I did not belong.”
Surprisingly, Jesse wasn’t compelled to apologise for telling truth. He didn’t have to retract for telling things as they are. In fact he won the most prestigious humanist award for his essay. But I’m wondering how long will it take before ADL’s Abe Foxman and infamous Ethnic-cleansing advocate Alan Dershowitz launch a campaign to destroy the awarding college.
Being a person who oscillates continuously between being an ‘ex-Jew’ and a ‘proud self hating Jew’, I embrace young Jesse and hold him close to my heart. My dear young twin brother, journeying from choseness is a life-struggle. From time to time you may feel lonely but you are never alone. Humanity and humanism are there at your side – for all time.

Dear Ascension Pioneers!
We are all multidimensional Beings, so we do not need to channel some part of ourselves or some “Divine Being” to be connected, for we are ALWAYS connected to All That Is. We are always merged with all aspects of the Self, and this is called the I AM Presence. We are eternally connected to Source energy, and spirituality is truly not as difficult or complicated as some individuals make it seem through their “teachings”. It is as natural to us as breathing, for we are eternally connected with All Life within Creation. We are Spirit Beings, so we do not need any methods or saviors to help us to remember the Self and Ascend. There are some individuals, whose ways only make things more complicated than they are in our Truth of Being. We are Source Beings, and all we need to do is connect with our inner Source Self. There is no method or a particular approach for this, no one way or another, just pure intent of Being! God/Goddess is not in seeking, it is in knowing that Source is everywhere, within us and all around us. It’s in everything! True spirituality is simple and organic, and not as complex as some wish to make it. We don’t need to work hard on becoming spiritually connected, because we already are pure Spirit! To be connected or disconnected is only a matter of free will decision. And we are only a thought away from Being connected to our Divinity!
Information on the subject:
I thought this was the most unusual thing I saw on the Alaskan cruise in the water. These two bodies of water were merging in the middle of the Alaskan gulf and there was a foam developing only at their junction.
I thought this was an example of a Halocline described on Wikipedia. A few people have commented that a Halocline is more of a horizontal phenomenon and this is more vertically oriented.
I am pretty confident that what you are seeing is a result of the melting glaciers being composed of fresh water and the ocean has a higher percentage of salt causing the two bodies of water to have different densities and therefore makes it more difficult to mix. I’m told they will eventually mix given enough time.
People have asked me if I just happened to look out over the edge of the ship deck and see this. Actually I had been on the deck for quite some time when I noticed what appeared to be a shadow cast by clouds over the ocean about 5 miles in front of the ship. As we approached the shadow I realized it was something different. I took many shots up to the point I shot this one, but never posted them until a year after this image went viral. I really posted them to convince people I did not Photoshop this image. See the other shots here.
Information on the photograph and high view count:
On January 20, 2011, this image was viewed 71,000 times in one day. That is more times than all my other photos, sets, collections, and photostream for the last 18 months and even on that date this photo was not even registered as my most interesting according to Flickr. You can see them here in my other most interesting photos according to Flickr.
On September 20, 2011, this image went through another viral surge and was viewed 177,456 times that one day, almost 50% of the total number of views it had seen since I first posted it. The following day it only saw 98,285 views. And by the 3rd day it was back to it’s prior daily view level of about 500-1000 views per day.
If you want to read about this amazing high view count phenomenon see this link with the details.
The original site to start all the craziness was Tumblr and as of Jan 22, 2011, the number of comments on Tumblr alone was over 6,400. On March 7, 2011 Tumblr recorded 24,546 likes, comments, and rebloggs. As of Dec 23, 2011 16:00 the Tumblr notes were over 58,000 and climbing about 75 per minute.
The interestingness finally changed and on Jan 22, 2011 this photo was up to #23 in my photostream. As of February 13, 2011, it is up to #20. You can view all of them with a black background and they look much more impressive. As of February 12, 2011, it hit 100,000. On April 2 it hit 200,000 views with 352 favorites and 3 galleries.
Image Filename Coincidence?
My Canon camera automatically names the images I shoot and advanced the numbers sequentially from 0000 to 9999. I find it quite interesting that this particular image is number 0666. I did not modify it.
It is with great reluctance that we feel forced to undergo this temporary blackout of GrahamHancock.com in solidarity of the anti-SOPA and anti-PIPA movement. This site wishes to refrain from becoming political except under extreme circumstances, and one has arisen in the United States that requires our urgent action.
There are two important pieces of legislation: SOPA (“Stop Online Piracy Act”), moving through Congress and its sister bill, PIPA (“PROTECT-IP Act”) in the Senate. Both these bills present the same danger of radically transforming the free flow of information on the internet.
Under SOPA and/or PIPA:
Site owners will become liable for everything posted by its users, and could face jail time, heavy fines and DNS blacklisting if its users post copyright infringing content.
Sites with user generated content including services such as YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter will be forced to monitor and censor everything uploaded by their users.
Due process of law would be denied from site owners by initiating DNS blacklisting based solely on the good faith assertion of an individual copyright holder.
The U.S. government would have the power to censor sites in a similar way to The Great Firewall of China.
For more information on why these bills are bad, see “What’s Wrong With SOPA?”, a one-page PDF rundown of SOPA from the Electronic Frontier Foundation, and see this video for an explanation of the problems presented by PIPA. Google also has a page of information urging action, and Wikipedia has an information page.
Fight censorship – includes Voice-Over-IP to directly call your representative and share your opposition to SOPA & PROTECT-IP http://fightcensorship.info/
If SOPA or PIPA pass, Government and corporations would be able to block any site anywhere in the world just for one infringing link. Sites with user generated content, including messageboards, will have to manually review and approve all content or risk getting shut down. Regular users face the possibility of 5 years in jail for posting any copyrighted work. Speak to your representative today and say NO to SOPA & PROTECT-IP.
Consider letting your representatives know that PIPA and SOPA:
Will not effectively stop piracy.
Contain highly ambiguous language that is ripe for abuse.
Introduce regulation and enforce censorship on what should be a free and open internet.
For those who are not in the US, you can help by sharing this information on your social networks and via email and save the internet and freedom of information for all mankind.
(NaturalNews) On Wednesday, January 18, 2012, NaturalNews.com went “dark” to protest SOPA, the “Stop Online Piracy Act” that is actually a thinly-veiled government censorship effort. We are also protesting PIPA, the “Protect IP Act,” which is similarly destructive in its effects. You may have arrived at this page from our mock “seizure” index page which depicts what might happen if SOPA becomes law.
This is crucial for all NaturalNews readers and fans to understand: If SOPA becomes law, NaturalNews.com will be shut down. In fact, the proposed law contains a specific provision — section 105 — which allows the U.S. government to shut down websites it claims “endanger public health.”
Given that NaturalNews openly and repeatedly advocates things like natural sunlight and vitamin C — both of which the government has said are dangerous — our website could be seized by the government under SOPA. And that doesn’t even consider our public stance against routine vaccinations, processed food chemicals and dangerous prescription medications (which the government is always trying to push on the public to kill people before they live long enough to collect social security).
If passed into law, SOPA would shut down NaturalNews, InfoWars, Drudge, Lew Rockwell, Reddit and many other alternative news websites
Make no mistake about the seriousness of this issue: If SOPA (or PIPA) becomes law, it will sooner or later result in the government seizure and shutdown of virtually all alternative news websites — especially those that disagree with the criminality of the current corrupt political regime in Washington.
Imagine an internet without NaturalNews.com. Imagine the liberty movement without InfoWars.com. Imagine the entire world wide web being “sanitized” by the government to remove any websites that do not agree with the government’s official position on finance, the war on drugs, the war on terrorism, pharmaceuticals and vaccines. That’s what we’re facing if SOPA becomes law: A virtual wipeout of all truth across the internet, leaving only the lies of “official” government information… the Ministry of Truth, in other words.
The Internet is the vehicle for restoring freedom and crushing tyranny
Why is the U.S. government working so feverishly to crush independent, truthful information on the internet? Because the globalist controllers realize that the internet is the last bastion of freedom in a world run by global elite corporatists.
While the global elite own and run the mainstream (corporate whore) media, and they own Congress, and they own all the influential non-profits such as the wholly corrupt American Cancer Society, they do not yet control the internet! This freaks them out, especially when they see so much truth being produced by liberty-loving individuals who are exposing the neocons, the socialists, and the criminal-minded thugs who run Wall Street and the White House.
They are desperate to crush internet freedom and SOPA is the tool they hope to use to accomplish that. This is why your opposition to SOPA is absolutely crucial. It’s also why internet giants such as Wikipedia and Reddit have joined in this one-day protest against the tyranny of SOPA and what is fast becoming a government-sponsored “information terrorism” campaign against free speech.
Take action NOW – or you will lose internet free speech forever
This is an absolute must: Take action today to voice your opposition to SOPA. Here’s how you can do that:
Click this link to email your Representative: http://house.gov/htbin/findrep
(Use the little envelope icon that appears to the right of the picture to send them an email.)
Send your representatives and Senator a short message that covers the following fundamental points:
* You oppose SOPA.
* You will not support or vote for any candidate that supports SOPA.

Obama may sign SOPA even if he says he opposes it
It is crucial that you take action now, because even though SOPA has been “shelved” and Obama has withdrawn his support for it, remember that Obama also promised he would veto the NDAA, yet he quietly and sneakily signed that on New Year’s Eve, stripping Americans of their due process rights (http://www.naturalnews.com/034537_NDAA_Bill_of_Rights_Obama.html).
Just because Obama says he opposes something doesn’t mean he won’t sign it! And believe me, the tactics of all these evil minions in Washington is to operate in darkness, meaning they will delay SOPA when people are paying attention but then, a few months later, after public awareness has waned, they will insidiously attach it to some spending bill and quietly make it law. One day you will wake up and all your favorite websites will simply be GONE. Remember, the government has already shut down 84,000 websites with no due process (http://torrentfreak.com/u-s-government-shuts-down-84000-websites-by-mista…).
That’s why you need to voice your opposition to SOPA right now and take a stand for internet Free Speech.
If you don’t, you may very well wake up one day and find NaturalNews.com shut down, InfoWars.com removed from the ‘net, and then your only remaining news options will be CNN, Fox, MSNBC and all the other sources of complete mind-controlled drivel that the corporate “sellout” establishment wants to drill into your head.
Finally, share this article on Facebook, Twitter and other social networks. Spread the word about SOPA. Encourage others to take action. Remember: The internet is the last bastion of freedom in our modern world. If we lose the internet, the corrupt criminals and tyrants who run Wall Street and Washington D.C. will have total, unrelenting control over all information, and your freedom will be suffocated under a police state agenda of total disinformation.
Spread the word. Take action. Protect freedom! Protect the People against government censorship!
